300 WIN FOR SALE
I had that problem a few years ago when choosing a well-liked magnum from the Ruger line with the Boat Paddle stock and SS barreled action. A .338 Win Mag or a 300 Win was the option. Though my preference for a powerful medium was stronger—I had previously had a .338 Sako FS and a .375 H&H—I chose the .300 Win Mag purely out of practical considerations because I already possessed a few Big Bores. A few 45-70s were added to those. Nor would this be my first experience with a .300 Win Mag. But I wanted to hunt large game in the winter with one of those all-weather rifles. For better or worse, I thought the .300 Win Mag was a little more adaptable back then.
